Deborah Forsythe - Medical Aesthetic Specialist & Menopause Consultant
Deborah's career started in accident and emergency medicine where she was at the forefront of acute trauma leading the medical team in the Accident and Emergency department at The Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast, continuing at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Emergency units in London.
Deborah’s interest in the aesthetic speciality began in 1990 when she had the privilege to work with several of the country’s leading plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
Her primary field of expertise, non-surgical dermal facial rejuvenation has been a passion for more than 25 years. Deborah has for many years been passionate about raising the standard of education within the Medical Aesthetic arena. She was the co-founder of the 1st recognised Master’s degree in Medical Aesthetics at the University of Central Lancashire.
For 15 years, she was a Consultant for Q-Med, one of the worlds leading biotechnology/medical Device Company and was a founder member of the Allergan faculty of Vistabel ® Validators, responsible for validating practitioners on injection techniques.
Internationally renowned as a leading lecturer, trainer, and expert in aesthetic practice, she had a pan-global portfolio in medical aesthetic education, speaking at National, European, and Middle Eastern professional congresses.
Having worked primarily with female patients she became aware of the increasing need for menopausal and hormonal education for both women and men and that every person should have the knowledge and access to the full understanding of what changes they can expect and the solutions available. Deborah's passion retrained with the Marion Gluck Academy in 2010 specialising in Bio-identical Hormone therapy, a cutting-edge service that delivers personalised care and proven science to thousands of patients.
Lohani Noor - Couple's and Relational Therapist
Lohani is a couple's and relational therapist. She is a registered with the LGBT Foundation and topSO. She also writes for Desiblitz and have appeared on Radio 4 as well as other mainstream media outlets.
She is an experienced empathic and relational psychotherapist and supervisor with a long history of working with others in a supportive capacity. Lohani began her career working for the National Association of Young People In Care. For many years after that, she worked as a Residential Social Worker. The client groups she worked with included mental health, drug & alcohol, addiction, compulsive behaviours, sex offenders, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self esteem, relationship issues, loss of direction in life and self abuse.
Currently she is undertaking a Msc Psychosexual Therapies and training as a psychosexual therapist in addition to her general practice.
Lohani understands that sometimes life does not run as smoothly as you hope it would and sometimes unhappy memories from the past can be unexpectedly triggered by current events. Without support, the quality of your life can be greatly impacted by such occurrences. Research has shown that spending time with a therapist can help you work though difficulties and bring closure and greater harmony to your life.
In addition to therapeutic work, she has also competed nationally and internationally as a Bodybuilder and strength athlete. Until recently, she has continued to work in the sports arena as a UKBFF/PCA/IPFA Judge. She is mindful of the ways in which healthy lifestyle choices can be overlooked by individuals who do not have the internal resources to recognise the full range of options available to them. Furthermore, there are many ways in which people struggle to accept success and sabotage their own success. You may find it difficult to be seen or carry authority.
Currently, Lohani has a psychotherapy practice which is based from the Manchester Institute of Psychotherapy in Chorlton. However, she offers online appointments and as such, she has a broad client base worldwide.
The service she offers is flexible and will be tailored to meet your need, whether that be depression, lack of self esteem, anger management, shame, relationship issues, substance misuse and self harm, eating disorders, sexual abuse, body dysmorphia, psychosexual concerns and more. Regardless of your presenting issue, Lohani will support and facilitate your journey towards becoming a better version of yourself.
She works with individuals and also couples/groups.
Please speak to Lohani directly about groups as the groups she runs can vary in their remit.
