Spooky Halloween Mania thrilled guests at The Plough & Flail in Mobberley last Saturday in association with Cheshire Socialites.
The pub was transformed into a spooky retreat with decorations, live music from band Strong Medicine with activities for the children like apple bobbing, guess who game, Halloween quiz with glitter makeup and face art by Cheryl. There were spooky goody bags with lots of treats inside for the children with plenty of prosecco flowing for the adults with a special Halloween menu for diners.
There was even a presentation with trophies for the best fancy dress. Colette Alexander won first prize for the ladies and local Jason Dunks won hands down for the men.
Caroline Terrington, Manager at The Plough & Flail says. “We’re thrilled to of hosted this party and it was so nice to welcome so many new faces as well as the locals. It was brilliant to see how much effort some people went to with their outfits and raise money for a great cause”
Joanna Scott-Aspray, MD from Cheshire Socialites. “We were proud to be associated with Caroline and the team at The Plough & Flail and be part of this great night. As a patron to The Kirsty Club Charity which is close to my heart, I’m thrilled we raised much needed funds whilst having so much fun” says Joanna. “Thankyou to everyone that attended and to all the wonderful businesses that contributed towards the raffle itself and bought tickets. We endeavour to keep fundraising in memory of our spearhead Miss Kirsty Howard who passed away 2 years ago and keep our promises”.
